ECHOES – Just like that JUNE

Woohooo, we have successfully completed half a year of 2016 officially and some really big things that got over like #AtoZChallenge, #GameofThrones Season 6 ( 😛 it’s tough to wait for another year) , long vacation, lots of blogging and reading and meeting amazing bloggers in person 😀

So here I am with yet another Monthly Favorites section of mine called ECHOES and June for me was JUST LIKE THAT. ( It was good, am saving the adjective starting with J for next month July, so if you have any suggestion let me know so that I can update the title of this month 😛 )

Blog updates
Yes after almost not making any posts (not even 5 😦 ) in the month of May, I finally managed to get back on track and publish around 10 posts which I know I know is a lot less as far as my 2016 Blogging Resolution was but then 10 is better than 5 😀 So it’s all good people. 😀 In fact I was actually planning on making some changes to my blog considering the fact that my first blog anniversary is almost around the corner like number of posts a month, new topics to be covered, new sections to be added/updated, scheduling my posts, taking part in guest blog etc. Yeah so you can see many new topics and things happening on my blog. Wish me luck 😀

Work getting published – What better than this
June as a month was awesome in terms of my work being acknowledged by blogging communities and it was really overwhelming and encouraging and inspiring for a new blogger like me. Some of my work got published on the below pages. Please do check them out. I am trying to now work on exclusive content moving forward giving me more chance to broaden my horizons in terms of writing.

Lot of Doodles and Zentangles
Ohh yes nothing new for you guys am sure now, I have been doodling and doing zentangles like non stop now. It’s seriously addictive. Thanks to the abundance of inspiration and source as Internet. It’s so helpful for amateurs like us to learn and grow not just one particular style or hobby but everything under the sky is there over the net all we need is the passion to learn. I am trying different styles botanical, flowers, geometrical patterns, lines, cartoons etc. 😀 #arttherapy you see 😛

Instagram is the coolest thing ever
I have been using Instagram for quite sometime now but the last one month has really helped me understand the power of #hashtags. Earlier i used to upload pics (of my drawings) and people on my contact list used to like and comment them limiting my scope. But lately after using decent and good hashtags appropriate for my artwork, i have got amazing visit from so many people all over the world.

More than getting likes and comments and followers it’s more like getting to know so many other amazing people out there who share the same interest and passion as yours. I came across some amazing instagrammers whom i now follow religiously and have learned a lot from them ❤ ❤ If you have a business, or a passion be it DIY, art and craft, fashion, photography, food anything I would suggest you to use Instagram as a method of sharing and learning. You’ll thank me for sure .

Cloud Raiders
I use a windows lumia 640 xl mobile phone, and there aren’t much gaming options in for the windows user. Even more am not much into mobile gaming the ones i play are mostly puzzles, hidden objects or building empires and cities. Few days back I came across an article on must have gaming apps for windows phone and i immediately installed all 10 of them tried few and uninstalled 9 by next day end.

Only when game which caught my interest was the Cloud Raiders. Am loving this game so much that someone like me who sleeps by 11.30-12pm is awake until morning 4am playing this game, setting up alarms on my mobile to know whenever the upgrades i am making to my empire is completed so that i can play further. Games can be addictive too. 😀 Any windows and Cloud Raiders users on my blog??? 

And that’s a wrap for the month of June month. It was a beautiful month with lot of excitement and productive work, lot of learning i would say. How was your June month (considering one more day to go still). ???

Am looking forward for the Word-High July Challenge hosted by  Maria of Doodles and Scribbles and  Rosema of A Reading Writer which is a whole month worth of prompts that are 30 beautiful Filipino words below will serve as the prompt for each day of the month. You should check out this challenge if you love learning new things especially something as cool as a language which has some beautiful sounding and meaning words like KILIG which means “butterflies in one’s stomach” or TINATANGI that means “special someone”. How melodious isn’t it?
